When is the best time to schedule a newborn session?

For the sleepiest and most curled-up poses, newborn sessions are ideally photographed when your baby is between 8 and 16 days old. However, beautiful newborn portraits are possible at any age, and I’m always happy to work with older newborns as well.

Do I need to prepare anything before the session?

Very little! I'll send you a Parent Preparation Guide before your session with helpful tips to ensure everything goes smoothly. Since I bring my complete mobile studio to your home, all you'll need is a small open area for the setup. My goal is to make the entire experience as easy, comfortable, and stress-free as possible for your family.

How long does a newborn session take?

Session length depends on the collection you choose, but most newborn sessions last between 1 and 3 hours. I always work at your baby's pace, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and cuddles whenever needed.

Do you provide all the props and equipment?

Yes! I bring a complete professional mobile studio to your home, including professional lighting, carefully selected props, wraps, blankets, headbands, hats, layers, and a variety of accessories. Every setup is thoughtfully styled to create timeless images while keeping your baby's comfort and safety as the highest priority.

Can parents and siblings be included?

When should I book my newborn session?

The best time to reserve your newborn session is during your second or third trimester. Since I accept a limited number of newborn sessions each month, booking before your baby arrives helps ensure availability. Your session is reserved based on your estimated due date, and once your baby is born, we'll simply confirm the exact session date.
