Newborn Photo Session – Service Agreement
Precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic:
Before the start of the session:
• I will check my temperature before the start of the session;
• I will wear a face mask at all times;
• I will sanitize my hands every single time before touching the baby;
• All the props and clothes that I’m going to use for the session are sanitized/washed before each session.
WHEN SHOULD I HIRE A NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
I recommend save the date 1 month before the due date.
In case the baby is coming earlier, you can let me know as soon as possible so that I can reset my schedule. Usually, the traditional posing newborn photos are made with the baby at the age of 5 to 15 days. During this period the baby is more flexible, and usually feels well by posing positions that remind his/her the uterine environment. Besides that, technically until the 15th day, newborns do not have colic and get a deep sleep for longer time, which makes easier to take the pictures.
WHERE DOES THE NEWBORN SESSION TAKE PLACE?
For the packages 1, 2 and 3, the newborn session is made in your house, for your comfort and convenience. For the package 4 (wrapped baby), the newborn session is made in my studio (Denver – 80212).
The newborn is very sensitive, I always recommend that the session happens in a quiet place with not many people around, if possible.
WHO CAN ATTEND THE SESSION?
Newborns are too sensitive, so I recommend that the session is followed by parents only, to keep a calm and quiet atmosphere.
CAN PARENTS/SIBLINGS PARTICIPATE ON THE SESSION?
The packages 1, 2, 3 are including family pictures (siblings and parents).
The package 4 does not include pictures with siblings or parents, wrapped images of newborn only
DO I NEED TO PROVIDE ANY OUTFIT OR ACESSORY FOR NEWBORN PHOTO SESSION?
You don’t need to worry about anything. I bring the entire scenario, outfits and all the production needed for the photos.
CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC SET OR ACESSORY FOR MY BABY PHOTO SESSION?
In case you have some piece of clothes with sentimental value we can include to the session, (3 pieces is the limit). Scenarios, objects, accessories from photos taken with other professional can be used as reference provided that I have something similar in my collection.
CAN I CHOOSE THE POSES FOR THE SESSION?
Before starting the session, I will check the baby's flexibility which is a unique characteristic of every baby, so I cannot guarantee specific poses as it depends on the baby not on me. I will respect the baby's limit and preferences for each pose, making him/her feel comfortable all the time.
WHAT IF MY BABY CRIES AND WE CANNOT TAKE THE PHOTOS?
Babies are unpredictable, especially in this adaptation phase out of the belly, so we also consider the possibility of a bad day for the baby, then we wouldn't be able to make it, so we could reschedule according to availability.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR YOU TO DELIVER THE DIGITAL IMAGES?
The deadline for the first presentation for photo choosing is 5 business days (online private gallery).
The deadline for the photo selection is 3 business days, and the deadline for the delivery of the digital file selected is 10 business days after the selection. For other products the deadline will be informed at the purchase moment.
CAN I ASK ANY PHOTO BEFORE THE DELIVERY DEADLINE?
If you want any photo before the time limit, please check the special delivery deadline; a fee will be charged for the work done out of my regular schedule.
DO I RECEIVE ALL THE PHOTOS IN HIGH RESOLUTION, HAND EDITED, IN COLOR AND BLACK AND WHITE?
According to the hired package, only the selected pictures from the online private gallery will be delivered in high resolution digital file, hand edited, in color and black & white for download, with all the rights for impression.
CAN I BUY MORE PHOTOS THAN CONTRACTED?
Yes, you can. The price for each extra finished digital image is $25.
After choosing a package that meets your needs, we can set the session day, which will be confirmed by paying the reservation fee. Reservation fee $50.
The rest of the payment will be done on the session day, when the reservation fee will be discounted from the total price.

(Please check special conditions if you need longer time limit for paying it).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Cancelations until 3 days after the reservation payment will be fully refunded; after that time, there is no refunding.
BACK UP AND FORWARDING PICTURE FILES
As soon as you receive your photos on digital file you must save them on your computer. You can make extra back up such as cloud saving, external HD, and others. It is your responsibility to keep this file safe. Once the file is sent, if you need another one, you will be charged a $50-dollar fee. After the delivery, I will keep the backup for 1 (one) month.
PHOTO USAGE IN MY PORTFOLIO
All the photos, photobooks, and photo products in general can be used in my portfolio. In case you don't authorize it, you must inform it on the session day.
PRE AND POST SESSION ASSISTENCE
As my job requires, when photographing, I cannot answer phone calls and/or messages, so for this reason, my assistance is concentrated on my email firstname.lastname@example.org.
My aim is to return all emails within a 24-hour period.
By accepting this document via e-mail or even by booking your session or paying the reservation fee payment, you accept the reading and agreement on the conditions described on this document, validating it as a service agreement.
