How does a Family Studio Day work?
Simply invite up to three participating families to one location, and I'll bring my complete professional studio to you. Each family enjoys their own private portrait session, followed by beautiful group portraits featuring grandparents, cousins, friends, or any combination you'd like to remember.
How much space do we need?
A living room, bonus room, or any indoor space with enough room for the backdrop and lighting usually works perfectly. If you're unsure, simply send me a few photos of the space, and I'll be happy to confirm that it will work.
Who can participate?
Family Studio Days are perfect for friends, siblings, cousins, grandparents, or anyone who would love updated family portraits. The experience is designed for up to three participating families, with additional group portraits at the end.
How long does the experience last?
Each family receives approximately 30 minutes of dedicated portrait time, followed by a variety of group photographs. The entire experience typically lasts about 2 to 2½ hours, depending on the number of group combinations.
Can we take group photos together?
Absolutely! That's one of the biggest advantages of a Family Studio Day. After each family's individual portraits, we'll create meaningful group photographs, including grandparents with grandchildren, cousins, siblings, best friends, or everyone together
Who hosts the Family Studio Day?
One family simply provides the location with enough indoor space for the studio setup. I'll take care of bringing all the professional equipment, including lighting and backdrop, so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
What should we wear?
Soft, neutral colors always photograph beautifully and create a timeless look. Shades like white, cream, beige, tan, soft gray, sage green, dusty blue, and light brown work especially well. I recommend coordinating colors rather than matching exactly, and avoiding large logos, bold patterns, or bright neon colors so the focus remains on your family.
